An Unexpected First Impression of Seoul

South Korea was never on my list of places to visit but it turned out to be so mesmerizing. It's not that I didn't think it was beautiful, because it is. But I just wasn't sure how much of an interest there would be for me.

Alhamdulillah, I've had the opportunity of going there for work recently and even though I didn't have the freedom of planning out my own itinerary, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful trips I've ever taken.

The city of Seoul is a bustling metropolis with an old-timey feel. The traditional culture and architecture is preserved in the city center while modern skyscrapers surround the edges. The contrast between new and old gives the city an interesting vibe that I really enjoyed.

It's beautiful and strange, with a vibrant energy that's hard to describe. It's basically a city made for Instagram pictures—it's so colorful and exciting, with so many different things going on all the time. The people are friendly and helpful—even if they don't speak English. And the food! There are so many delicious options that it's hard to choose just one for dinner. I'm going to have to return again soon to try them all!

I've got a few blog articles lined up from my visit to Seoul so keep your eyes peeled for those!
