A White Mediterranean Christmas at 21 on Rajah

21 On Rajah: Back With a Halal Christmas Feast

It’s that time of the year when family, friends and colleagues gather so if you’re searching for a suitable place that’s halal certified and able to cater to different taste buds as well as group sizes, look no further. Our visit to 21 On Rajah during Ramadan last year left a lasting impression, and we will keep recommending this place simply because of their food, place and people.

I’ve noticed that they are now under the new management of Aloft Hotels, which is no stranger to frequent jetsetters under the Marriot travel program. Aloft hase over 220 hotels worldwide including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, and with the festive season at its peak, this amazing restaurant rolling out the red carpet for a spectacular Christmas feast that's got us buzzing. I mean… just look at that spread:

They have so many things to offer at 21 On Rajah and I am so, so thankful that everything is halal-certified. On top of that, they provide indoor and outdoor dining spaces that can cater to various group sizes. I’ve personally been there at least three times in the last two years, and I can vouch that it’s a really beautiful place that’s perfect for your OOTD shots or group photos. Whether you’re dining with your department, or having a small get-together with your closest friends, this restaurant is able to provide what you need. You can even host your own private event here, if that’s what you want!

Okay, enough about the place. Let’s take a look at their festive menu, shall we?

Let's kick things off with the star of the show – the 21 On Rajah’s Signature Seafood On Ice. There’s lobsters, snow crabs, mussels, scallops, prawns – basically all of the shellfish that you can think off, they probably have it right here. Plus, it’s a buffet, so get ready to make your seafood dreams come true because you can literally eat as many snow crabs as you want. No one will judge you!

And don't even get me started on the live carving station! The Honey-Glazed Roasted Whole Turkey with Nut Stuffing and Glazed Turkey Ham is a holiday masterpiece. Nut stuffing, cranberry sauce, and buttery Brussels sprouts – definitely reminds me of the festive season. For those seeking a fusion of local and Western flavors, the Otak Salmon Wellington takes center stage. Meanwhile, meat enthusiasts can revel in the succulence of the U.S. Prime Beef Ribeye, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes.

If you’ve been to 21 On Rajah, remember those lip-smacking signature dishes from their buffet? Well, they're not going anywhere! Braised Lamb Shank Moroccan Style, Slipper Lobster in Chilli Crab Sauce – consider your cravings satisfied. And of course, the iconic Singapore Nonya Laksa is still stealing the spotlight, regardless of the season. Of course, not forgetting the Fresh Durian Mousse, Assorted Nonya Kueh, and a Christmas spread that includes Warm Bread & Butter Pudding and the classic Christmas Log Cake. It's like a dessert wonderland that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance.

The festive buffet is available until the start of 2024, offering a tempting array for lunch, dinner, Christmas, and New Year's celebrations. Priced at $48++ for adults and $24++ for the little ones.
